Variety description

The variety is a vigorous shrub 3–5 meters in height with a crown diameter of 2–3 meters. Branches are characterized by moderate thorniness. Fruits weighing 0.36–0.4 g have an oval or cylindrical shape, dark orange color and a peduncle 3–4 mm in length.
The plant is dioecious; to obtain a yield, male specimens are required in a ratio of 1 to 5–8 female plants. The variety is light-loving, prefers light drained soils, withstands frosts down to -34°C…-36°C and drought, but is sensitive to strong winds.
Berries contain vitamin C (about 260 mg/100 g), carotene, vitamin E and up to 3.7% oils, and are characterized by a sour taste. The fruit ripening period falls in August. The variety is susceptible to Fusarium and Verticillium wilt.
