The Darsspel variety is a male specimen that does not produce fruit. The plant is a bushy shrub with dense foliage and is characterized by relatively short stature, reaching a height of about 2.5 meters.
Flowering of the variety occurs in May–June with small white flowers. The plant is characterized by full winter hardiness and high overall resilience.
The primary purpose of the variety is to provide cross-pollination for female sea buckthorn specimens. Due to its decorative qualities and dense crown, it is also used in landscaping, including plantings in coastal zones, as it is resistant to strong winds.
