The Alice (Alice mz) variety is a multi-row winter barley with medium winter hardiness. Lodging resistance is characterized as medium-low; susceptibility to stem and ear breakage is characterized as medium.

Plants are distinguished by high weed suppression ability and very good leaf apparatus condition. The variety possesses resistance to barley yellow dwarf virus (BYDV) and barley yellow mosaic virus type I. Low or medium sowing density is recommended for cultivation, and the variety has a wide sowing window.

The variety is intended for use as feed and provides stable yields at a high level.
