The variety belongs to the feed winter barley group with a six-row ear. Plants have an average height and are characterized by moderate lodging resistance. The variety is distinguished by high yield potential, good grain grading, and a high test weight with a sufficiently high protein content.
Regarding diseases, the variety shows good resistance to leaf rust, and is also low-susceptible to rhynchosporium, helminthosporium leaf spot, and ramularia. At the same time, a rather high susceptibility to powdery mildew is noted. An important feature is its tolerance to barley yellow dwarf virus (JNO).
