The variety was obtained in 2002 by crossing the varieties Jacinta and Vortex. The plants are short, averaging 68 cm in height, and possess high resistance to lodging. The vegetation period from emergence to wax ripeness lasts about 86 days.
The variety belongs to the malting type of use. It possesses resistance to loose smut, powdery mildew, and Helminthosporium leaf spot, and shows moderate resistance to Rhynchosporium. During trials, the yield reached values from 5.04 to 9.16 t/ha, depending on the growing conditions.
