The variety is a winter two-row barley with a genetic pedigree of (Obruk 86 x Andra). The plant possesses improved resistance to lodging and net blotch pathogens, but may show reduced productivity when grown on soils with increased acidity.
The variety is classified as high-yielding and is suitable for the malting industry. The thousand kernel weight is over 42 grams, and the protein content is in the range of 9.5–11.5%. Studies also note specific indicators of extractivity and enzymatic activity of the grain.
