The variety is a winter six-row barley. It possesses pronounced resistance to barley yellow mosaic virus (BaYMV) and barley mild mosaic virus (BaMMV), being a carrier of the rym4 gene.
In field trials under conditions of viral infestation, the variety demonstrated high yield. The primary purpose of the variety is its use as a reference sample or parental form in breeding programs for resistance to viral diseases.
