The variety is a spring malting barley with a semi-erect habit and a cylindrical two-rowed ear. It belongs to the mid-late maturity group.

The variety's produce features a high extract content (over 83%), a Kolbach index in the range of 48.6–49.4%, and good cell wall degradation performance. The plant has moderate drought tolerance and good resistance to powdery mildew.
