The variety is semi-late, medium-tall with a height of about 78 cm. It shows medium resistance to lodging, brown rust, net blotch, and rhynchosporium. It possesses genetic resistance to powdery mildew and high resistance to pre-harvest sprouting in the ear.
The grain is of medium size; the thousand kernel weight is 46–47 g. The variety is distinguished by a consistently high grain yield, extract content, and good enzymatic activity, which ensures high malt quality.
