The variety is a six-row spring barley with a mid-early maturity group. The plants have a medium height stem and a semi-erect ear with medium wax bloom intensity. The leaves lack anthocyanin coloration; the lower leaf sheaths do not have pubescence.
The barley is distinguished by high stable yield, good grain bulk density, and increased protein content. The stem has good strength; however, if harvest is delayed, there is a potential tendency for lodging or stem breakage.
The variety has resistance to Septoria and leaf spot. Under field conditions, it shows a certain level of resistance to powdery mildew. It is adapted to the climatic conditions of Norway and has successfully passed variety testing in Finland.
