A spring barley variety characterized by a long stem. Possesses weak or very weak susceptibility to lodging, as well as resistance to stem and ear breaking when overripe.
Exhibits high resistance to powdery mildew and leaf blotch, resistant to cereal cyst nematode (races 1 and 2). The grain is distinguished by a low protein content.
