The variety belongs to the two-row winter barley type. Plants have medium height and medium maturity rate. Lodging resistance is rated at 4 points on the German classification scale.
The variety shows high susceptibility to leaf spot (Ramularia collo-cygni), the symptoms of which are most pronounced towards the end of the growing season. Resistance to powdery mildew, net blotch, and scald ranges from 2 to 7 points depending on the pathogen.
