The winter barley variety SY Fighter (breeding number RNX3827) is a product of Syngenta breeding. In the period 2012–2013, the variety was included in official recommended lists, particularly in the UK, where it demonstrated high productivity indicators.
Morphological and quality characteristics of the grain included a specific weight of about 44.4 kg/hl. The variety possessed a certain level of resistance to cereal diseases, however, it is currently classified as obsolete, therefore detailed resistance profiles to pathogens require reference to archived trial data.
