The Goldie variety is mentioned in scientific papers and breeding databases as an object of genetic research. In literature, it often appears as a parental form or a component of breeding crosses, for example, in Cork x Goldie combinations.
Publications do not contain a detailed description of the agronomic profile, such as plant height or maturity group. The variety is known as a carrier of specific pathogen resistance genes, in particular powdery mildew resistance genes, such as Mla12 and MlLa.
