The variety is one of the first commercial winter six-row barley hybrids. The plants have a relatively short straw, which provides them with good lodging resistance.
The hybrid belongs to medium-early varieties and is used primarily for feed purposes. It possesses high yield potential and genetic resistance to a number of pathogens, including powdery mildew.
