The variety belongs to the winter barley type. During trials, the variety demonstrated high yield, exceeding the performance of standard varieties, and possessed increased resistance to lodging compared to six-row standard varieties.

The plant possesses reliable winter hardiness and excellent drought tolerance. The variety is used in scientific research as an object for studying pathotypes of the net blotch pathogen Pyrenophora teres f. teres.
