The plant possesses genetically determined resistance to powdery mildew Blumeria graminis f.sp. hordei, associated with the presence of the specific gene Ml(Ru2), previously known as Ru2. Due to the biological characteristics of the variety, a high frequency of virulence of this pathogen has been observed on it.
