The sample is an early-maturing barley. In the conditions of Southern Russia, the growing season is 86 days, which allows it to be classified as an early-maturing form compared to standard mid-season varieties.

The plant possesses complex resistance to three types of blotch, and also shows resistance to powdery mildew. Due to these qualities, the sample is used in breeding programs for creating new adaptive varieties.
