The variety was bred using combined selection with the application of doubled haploid technology. Plants have a relatively short stem and very strong straw, which ensures a low risk of lodging.
The grain is characterized by high test weight and increased starch content. The variety possesses complex resistance: it has immunity to Barley yellow mosaic virus (BaMMV/BaYMV) and moderate resistance to powdery mildew and net blotch.
The purpose of the variety is for use as animal feed. In terms of heading and maturity dates, it belongs to mid-season varieties.
