The variety belongs to the nutans variety group. Plant height is 51–62 cm; the plant has a semi-erect growth habit. The cylindrical ear is of medium density and has serrated awns that are longer than the ear, with medium intensity anthocyanin coloration of the tips. The grain is large, with a thousand kernel weight ranging from 41 to 53 g.

The growing period of the variety is 72–85 days. The plant is characterized by good resistance to spot blotch and scald, as well as resistance to lodging. Drought tolerance is rated as medium. It originates from a cross between the varieties Power and Conchita.
