Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to early-maturing forms. In terms of agronomy, it is characterized by very weak straw, which results in low lodging resistance, as well as poor resistance to yellow rust infection.

Despite its malting purpose, grain quality was rated as lower in comparison with the standards of that period. At the same time, the variety demonstrated yield potential, in particular, due to the formation of a larger number of grains per ear compared to a number of other varieties.
