The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties RGT Planet and BC Leandra. It belongs to the category of varieties with Flexi-Malt® technology, which provides balanced modification of starch, protein, and grain cell walls, facilitating the maltingprocess.
The plant is of medium maturity and medium height, distinguished by a strong stem and high lodging resistance. It exhibits adaptability to various climatic conditions and resistance to drought stress. It possesses mlo-resistance to powdery mildew, as well as resistance to net blotch, rhynchosporium, and leaf rust.
The grain is characterized by excellent malting parameters, high uniformity, and an above-average test weight. The variety is suitable for traditional spring sowing and demonstrates quality stability even with elevated protein content, which allows for the use of intensive nitrogen fertilizer rates.
