The variety is short-stemmed, the average plant height is about 70 cm. It possesses good lodging resistance. It has a high level of resistance to powdery mildew, an average indicator for net blotch and leaf scald, and below average for brown rust.
The grain is large, with high quality test weight. The hot water extractivity indicator is about 314.5–315.1 L·deg/kg. The variety is approved for use in brewing and spirits production, and can also be used as feed barley.
