The variety is a two-row spring barley, characterized as a short to medium-height plant with a short and strong straw. The variety possesses high lodging resistance, as well as low susceptibility to ear and stem breakage.
It possesses a complex of genetic resistance, including protection against leaf rust, powdery mildew (MLO gene), and nematodes (races 1+2), which reduces yield dependency on fungicide treatments.
The grain is distinguished by good uniformity and high test weight, which in a number of trials exceeds 65 kg/hl. The variety is intended for malting: the extract content in malt dry matter is about 83.3%, and wort quality indicators are at an optimal level.
