The variety is a specialized malting barley of the mid-early maturity group. The plant has good lodging resistance, as well as high resistance to powdery mildew due to the presence of the mlo gene, rust, and leaf blotch.
Agronomic indicators of the variety include good tillering capacity at a recommended stand density of 800–850 ears per 1 m². The produce is characterized by a low level of proteolytic and cytolytic enzyme activity, which meets the technological requirements of the malting industry.
