The variety belongs to the winter barley crop. In documentation, it is encountered primarily in lists of varieties registered in national registries, in particular in Luxembourg.
Detailed morphological and agronomic descriptions of the variety are absent from open sources. The name Liberta is also applied to winter soft wheat varieties in a number of studies.
