The variety is a two-row winter barley obtained by crossing lines LBP 1911 and Alpha. Due to the age of the variety, its detailed morphological characteristics, such as plant height or maturity group, are virtually absent in open sources.
During scientific research in the 1990s, it was established that the grain of this variety contains D-hordein. In modern phytopathological databases, the variety appears in lists for screening for the presence of disease resistance alleles, although detailed resistance profiles are not provided.
