The variety was bred by the method of individual selection from the cross of varieties Viskoza and Scarlett. The growing season ranges from 75 to 93 days. The bush type is semi-prostrate; the plant is short, reaching a height of about 59 cm. The spike is cylindrical in shape, loose or of medium density. The thousand kernel weight is from 41 to 53 g.
The variety possesses high resistance to lodging and drought conditions. Susceptibility to loose smut, helminthosporiosis, and root rot is noted, with moderate resistance to covered smut.
