The variety was obtained by crossing «Вискоза» × «Скарлетт». It belongs to the mid-season group, with a growing period of 75–93 days. The plant is characterized by short stature, with a height of about 59 cm.

The variety has high resistance to lodging and drought tolerance. Susceptible to loose smut, Helminthosporium, and root rot. The grain is large, with a thousand kernel weight ranging from 41 to 50 g. It is used for brewing and as feed barley.
