The variety is a two-row barley with an intermediate growth habit and medium heading time. The spike is of medium density, tapering in shape and length, with awns longer than the spike itself.
There is no pubescence on the sheaths of the lower leaves. The flag leaf is distinguished by strong anthocyanin coloration of the auricles, and the frequency of plants with curved flag leaves is rated as low to medium.
In the context of processing, the variety is considered suitable for malting, possessing a good level of proteolytic and amylolytic modification.
