ActiveHordeum vulgare L. · Barley
ULRICH and JOSEF BREUN
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to winter six-row barley forms. In scientific literature, it is regarded as a historical breeding object used in the study of genetics of resistance to Barley yellow mosaic virus and in breeding work to develop awnless forms.
Production characteristics of the variety are practically absent, as it has not received wide commercial distribution. In spike morphology studies, the variety is characterized by low trait stability and more often acts as a parental form or a control sample.
