The variety is a two-row barley with a relatively long ear. In morphological comparative studies, it is classified into the second group of genotypes along with the Orfey and Zagorets varieties.

Grain quality is characterized by low variability of protein content across different years of testing. Due to its biological characteristics, the variety is used as genetic material for hybridization programs.
