The variety is intended for the production of feed grain. Biochemical analysis of the grain composition revealed the presence of low-activity beta-amylase alleles, which distinguishes it from malting varieties.

In scientific literature, the variety is considered an object of breeding research aimed at studying resistance to diseases such as net blotch and leaf scald.
