The variety is a two-row barley obtained by crossing the Concerto and Quench varieties. The plant is medium-height with a cylindrical spike of medium density; the growing season is 70–90 days.
The grain has high uniformity (about 94%) and a thousand kernel weight of 41 to 45 g with a protein content of 9–11%. Grain germination reaches 98%, which meets the requirements of the malting industry.
The variety demonstrates resistance to covered smut and lodging, while its drought tolerance is rated as medium. Susceptibility to Helminthosporium and root rots varies depending on cultivation conditions.
