The variety is a winter multi-row barley. During selection and field trials, its ability to withstand unfavorable winter conditions was evaluated.

Evaluation of varietal resistance to infection by loose smut (Ustilago nuda) and covered smut (Ustilago hordei) was conducted. The barley is intended for use as a forage crop.
