The variety Pilot was obtained by crossing the variety Publican with a proprietary breeding line. The main purpose of the barley is its use in brewing.
The grain of the variety has large dimensions and ensures high efficiency of the mashing process. Due to its mild malt flavor and low color, this barley is suitable for the production of various beer styles, as well as for creating fuller-bodied varieties with deep malt roasting.
