Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is classified as winter barley. In 1938 agronomic publications, the variety was included in lists of crops recognized as insufficiently valuable for certain growing conditions.

During 1961 studies examining the depth of tillering node formation in cereals, the variety was characterized as having a shallow-lying tillering node. In 1995 trials, the variety was evaluated for malting and brewing suitability, but did not receive recommended variety status.
