The plant is of the spring type with an intermediate growth habit and is characterized by a very short stem height. The leaves of the lower tiers have no sheath pubescence, while the flag leaf is distinguished by strong auricle pubescence. The ear is covered with a waxy bloom of medium to high intensity; its position three weeks after heading varies from erect to semi-erect.
The variety possesses good combining ability, which allows it to be used as a parent form for creating new hybrids. In scientific literature, it is studied in the context of resistance to net blotch, aluminum stress, and moisture deficiency, and is also considered as material for breeding malting varieties.
