The variety is of the facultative type, which allows it to develop under both winter and spring sowing conditions. The yield of the variety is 60–70 c/ha.

Seim is recommended for cultivation in all zones of Ukraine. In breeding, the variety is considered a valuable source for increasing the adaptability of winter barley in the conditions of the Forest-Steppe.
