The variety is a spring six-row barley. Plant growth type is semi-erect, intermediate. The flag leaf has anthocyanin coloration of the auricles and a pronounced waxy bloom on the sheath.

The caryopsis is distinguished by long hairs on the lemma, with the absence of ventral furrow hairiness. The variety is classified as medium-early in heading time.
