The barley variety, also known as AC Sirius, is a feed variety. In comparative agronomic trials, it was noted that plants of this variety have a relatively short height compared to some other varieties.

In the documentation regarding the registration of the variety, data were provided on the assessment of its resistance to various diseases, in particular, to net blotch caused by the fungus Pyrenophora teres.
