Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the two-row barley type with a semi-erect or intermediate habit. The flag leaf auricles have strong or very strong anthocyanin coloration, and the leaf attitude varies from intermediate to open. Pubescence of the lower leaf sheath is absent.

The spike of the variety is distinguished by strong anthocyanin coloration of the awn tips with weak glaucosity on the spikelet glume. The variety belongs to the early-maturing group; it was studied for resistance to barley yellow dwarf virus and for evaluation of grain biochemical composition, including beta-glucan content.
