Barley variety SU Lolek is characterized by a specific biochemical composition of the grain. In comparative studies, an increased accumulation of polyphenols was noted in it.
During the testing for distinctness, uniformity, and stability, the variety was evaluated by such morphological characteristics as the waxy bloom on the ear and the curvature of the rachis. An analysis of the composition of hordein proteins was also conducted.
