The variety belongs to early-maturing six-row winter barley of the feed type. The plant has a medium or medium-long stem height, possesses good resistance to lodging and high straw stability, although stem breakage is possible under intensive cultivation.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness and broad ecological plasticity, which allows it to be grown on various soil types, including light ones. Good grain plumpness and average test weight indicators are noted.
Possesses double resistance to barley yellow mosaic virus (BaMMV, BaYMV-1 and BaYMV-2). Susceptibility to other diseases includes vulnerability to scald (Rhynchosporium secalis) and Ramularia leaf spot, as well as average susceptibility to powdery mildew and rust.
Agronomic practice allows a wide range of sowing dates. Control of foliar diseases and the use of growth regulators to prevent stem breakage are recommended.
