The variety is a two-row spring barley that has received approval from the Malt Barley Committee for distilling and provisional approval for brewing. The grain has high hot water extract, good alcohol yield, and contains no glycosidic nitriles (Zero GN). The specific weight is approximately 67.7 kg/hl.
Plants reach a height of 72–74 cm and mature one day later than the standard RGT Planet. The variety is characterized by good lodging resistance (index 7 on a nine-point scale) and high resistance to diseases, including net blotch, rhynchosporium, and powdery mildew.
