The variety is intended for use as a feed crop. During comparative trials, the variety demonstrated high yields among the studied feed barley samples.

The variety was bred at the Dobrudzha Agricultural Institute with the aim of adapting to local soil and climatic conditions, and ensuring winter hardiness and lodging resistance.
