The Torrentiel variety is a six-row winter barley. It was included in testing programs for the needs of the brewing and malting industry, in particular, it was tested by the CBMO (Comité Bière Malt Orge) committee.
Detailed morphological characteristics, such as plant height, maturity group, indicators of resistance to lodging or specific diseases, have not been published in open public sources.
