The variety is a six-row spring barley. Its use is mainly limited to agricultural research and trials in Northern European countries.
In comparative grain quality analyses, the variety shows a protein content of 12.3% and a thousand kernel weight of about 42 g. In terms of amino acid composition, the variety shows less favorable results compared to a number of other varieties.
Trial results in Finland show that the yield of the variety can decrease significantly depending on the temperature regime during the ripening period.
