Variety description

The cultivar is a mutation of Hosta sieboldiana 'Elegans'. A mature plant reaches a height of 50–75 cm with a clump width of up to 90–110 cm. The leaves are characterized by a thick texture, a slightly twisted shape, and a distinct tricolor pattern, which changes during the season as the center turns green.
The plant's flowers are nearly white or light lavender in hue and appear in early to mid-summer on tall scapes. The growth rate is rated as medium-slow. Due to the dense leaf structure, the cultivar is relatively resistant to slug damage.
The plant prefers partial shade or shade and fertile, well-drained moist soils. In bright sun, the golden color of the leaf center may lose its intensity faster. The cultivar is intended for landscape design, decorating shaded areas, and container cultivation.
