The flowers of the variety have a saturated blue color with a violet or indigo hue. The dense cylindrical inflorescence consists of bell-shaped flowers 4–5 cm in diameter. Stems are sturdy and upright; leaves are dark green and basal.
The plant belongs to early or mid-early varieties; flowering in March–April lasts 2–3 weeks. The variety is frost-hardy and suitable for cultivation in flower beds, borders, pots, and for indoor forcing. It prefers sunny locations or partial shade and fertile, well-drained soil.
